Summary: Good Magazine
Comment: Just received magazine yesterday. Had several good items to knit. Hope the rest of the magazines have as much good stuff.

Summary: Love this magazine
Comment: For knitters, this is one of the top magazines. Lots of good articles and patterns. I have subscribed for years and watched them grow.

Summary: 1 out of 20 is sorta bad
Comment: Looking back over my knitting history, it becomes clear to me that a large number of patterns I've actually chosen to make have come from a Knitter's Magazine. However, for every one pattern that I adore, there are about 20 others that I find absolutely hideous: color mixes that are reminiscent of a 70s-era rumpus room -- orange, brown, and red put together in stripes; bulky, 80s-era, plain purple cardigans with absolutely no adornment to make them stand out; boxy, unappealing silhouettes; a strange predilection for particular styles like domino and odd patchworks...sometimes even the models seem embarrassed by what they have on. I let my subscription lapse after one year because I found myself more often laughing at what I saw than being inspired by it.

I don't mean to be rude, but I think a lot of the patterns skew to an older audience. If you're under 40, you might want to look elsewhere. Although, maybe you'll want to pay out the money for the one attractive pattern usually hidden in among the dross of each issue.

Summary: Knitters
Comment: I'm a beginner and this magazine came highly recommended by experts at the yarn store. At first I was amazed at the amount of advertizing. I enjoy the variety of patterns offered. It still may be a little too advanced for my stage of knitting when reading pattern instructions. Overall, I look forward to future issues.

Summary: Yarn packs make this a great magazine
Comment: One reason I adore Knitter's is that they sell yarn packs for the projects on their website. Few things are more frustrating than finding a pattern in a yarn and color you love and not being able to find the yarn anywhere! If only more magazines would do this!
