Summary: A great Christmas Present
Comment: My partner loves this magazine so an annual renewal is a "no-brainer" for me.
It's chock full of the latest sports collector info and values. A great, niche magazine.

Summary: Anyone in the hobby knows Beckett is the real price guide
Comment: Even with Beckett clearly the leader in the monthly hobby price guide, I found that Tuff Stuff simply has "MORE." More articles, more insider info, more items reviewed, etc. They just simply aren't as up to date with the pricing as Beckett is, but hey, who cares?
A card is only worth as much as somebody else is willing to pay for it. And NOBODY pays "book value" for anything. Sometimes it's more if a player is hot (Chipper Jones close to .400 BA) or has just died (Sorry??). Sometimes it's less if they are in a slump (Barry Zito?) or are being blasted for steroids (Barry Bonds?).
I haven't had a subscription to TS in a few years but have picked up the occasional mag on the newsstand. At $15 for the year though, I had to jump on it.

Summary: Bad Choice
Comment: The person that I ordered this for has told me that it is a "card collectors" magazine. When I looked at it online, the description did not say that. It appeared to me that it was about the different sports.
Looking to cancel subscription.

Summary: A Good magizine, but buy it on the newsstands
Comment: Tuff Stuff, a magizine that has price guides on sports cards and collectibles, along with little advertisements for card shops across the country and handy items to help preserve your valuable cards.
It's very useful for someone trying to find the value of their cards and figures, but it's a waste of money for a subscription because one or two things might be updated in each monthly issue. I think they should make it every couple of months if they want more subscriptions.
My suggestion to you is that you buy a copy on the newsstands every couple of months, and if you absolutely have to get the monthly subscription, that's for you to decide.
