Customer Rating: Summary: The Facts may be off but the wisdom is there Comment: This was a very easy read and I enjoyed it very much. It is an unbelievable true story. Now there may have been some funny things going on with the books relating to the facts. I didn't really pay all that attention to what Catherine was saying about her past lives. It was interesting at first but what really floored me was when the masters spoke. The wisdom that came from them was a beautiful thing. That is what really won me over with this book was the wisdom that was in it. I don't know about all the historical facts that may be wrong about what she had said but when she spoke of wisdom it made a lot of sense. Even if she is the greatest actress and lier alive she still has some damn good thoughts about life. I don't believe in this book blindly and fully but I do enjoy the wisdom within it.
Customer Rating: Summary: book review Comment: Excellent book about hypnosis, psychological care and the effect of learning about events in previous lives. Really supports the widely held (in hindu and buddist cultures) belief of reincarnation.

Thank you, sincerely, Dr. Weiss for writing it.

Really good book and easy to follow. Hard to refute what Dr. Weiss discovers in this journey with his patient. Explains so much of why we struggle to be human and reminds us how much we can be additive to our lives with the proper tools. Open your mind and be free!

Editorial Reviews:
|
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
